Ok - anyone watching this year?
The first of the series and it already had me laughing.
The guy who attempted Michael Jackson’s ‘Earth Song’ He then proceeded to break the background set behind him and probably damaged his knees in the process! "I am a true performer" he said, "I've been in karaoke finals without even looking at the screen." oh and apparently he was the only judge too!! ha!
The guy who sang so slowly they started showing the seasons passing – funny!
The mother in law telling Simon exactly what she thought of him.
The 16year who was so terrified he shook from head to toe (aww)
Loving it so far…

Hey Jasmine , I watched it aswell . I felt sorry for the 16yr old boy who was really nervous ( i was nearly in tears ) cause he wanted to do well , thanks to Sharon and Louis who put him through . I can't believe that the guy who did the Micheal Jackson song broke the set ! Talk to you soon .

The mother-in-law was great... how long have been waiting for that. I thought Paula Abdul was great too, shame she can't stay on full time!
I felt so sorry for that little boy, and Louis didn't exactly help by keeping him waiting for ages before saying yes.

The Funny
Champagne with his fake pink microphone, sunglasses and a tight white thing on his head. Simon’s words said it all “champagne – you’re flat”
Identical twins. The blonde one had a problem with her facial expression when singing. She looked quite demonic. Hardly surprising since their birthday was 6th of the 6th 06!!!
The ‘Twice as Nice’ girls attempting to sing (and I use that word loosely) ‘The lion sleeps tonight’ – complete with monkey sound effects, leopard skin ears, paws and tails! Did they really think they could actually sing and get through to the final?? I wonder what planet some of these people live on…
Agnes, who sang ‘It Must Have Been Love’ with her shaky voice had Simon and Louis giggling much to the disapproval of Sharon.
I would have the giggles too if I had to sit and watch some of that lot sing.
Others.
Nikita – Sang ‘Dimming Of The Day’ beautifully. So much emotion went into that song. She had sung it at her Mother’s funeral.
Gemma and Joe – the young couple soon to become rivals. I agree with the judges, Joe had the better voice, and easy on the eye too! *wink* I think Gemma will soon be knocked off her perch.
*Hey to you too Jen! xx

My mum said there was a little fire in Sharrons house , Kelly was in the house when it started , she wasn't hurt ! Apparently it was a lamp that must of been faulty or something like that !
In the X Factor next Saturday it says something about it .

I thought it was good . Did you notice julia , that the women in the wheelchair was going passed the side of the Clyde Auditorium . It showed the Science Centre over the water aswell . I remember that me and mum could see it at the side from our bedroom window . The two brothers in Glasgow were really good , they could be the next Journey South .

I thought the woman in the wheelchair was great as well. It reminded me of the week before though, when there was another woman who had recovered from a spinal injury - tragic story obviously and good for her for coming back from something like that - but she said that the injury happened when she 'tripped over a large dog' and for some reason that made me giggle like crazy. I think it's because it was a large dog. Not just a dog, but a large dog. These details are important!
Anyway....
This week, the guy who auditioned in Dublin and didn't get through and then whined because Sharon wasn't there and it wasn't fair, and then he went somewhere else and audtioned again? I wish he hadn't got through that time either (because I thought he was pretty average). It annoys me when people whine about how unfair it all is. And also when they bring along their entire families and friends and neighbours to the audition (though it amuses me if they then turn out to be terrible). And also when average singers get through just because they are pretty or they have a sob story to tell.
I have a sadistic streak.

I didn't see the part where Sharon picked her final 4 contestants, but I really thought Jonathan would get through...and I'm not that keen on Ben's voice either Glad Kerry got through Oh...and I'm SO glad the MacDonald brothers got through ;D Not forgetting Nikita - that's three Scottish acts in the final 12 ;D

I'm glad that Ray got through instead of Jonathan, I thought he was better, and Jonathan just wasn't confident enough to do well in the live shows. I think he should have another go in a year or two when he's a bit more experienced.
Is Ben the one with the gravelly voice? I liked him in the auditions but I'm getting a bit bored of him now - he doesn't seem to have much of a personality and I'm not liking his voice much anymore.
I like the Macdonald brothers too. I don't think anyone that I really hated got through (though Ashley is beginning to grate a bit and I don't think he's that good a singer. I think he got through on his image).

Sean was the one that didn't get through because he was so nervous, not Jonathan (he was one of Sharon's group). But yeah, I'm glad Ray got through 'cause he's much more confident and he's got charisma

Sean was the one that didn't get through because he was so nervous, not Jonathan (he was one of Sharon's group). I knew that! Oops. Obviously Jonathan didn't make much impression on me!
