I'm going to have to spend tomorrow night hiding with all the lights off at home to avoid the trick or treaters!

Whatever happened to the days when little children went round doors with an adult and sang Halloween songs or told poems? Less of the modern stuff, please!

I have to tape my letter box up. I am terrified some little 'angel' will stuff a firework through it!!

We were going to take Leonie trick-or-treating but didn't have time to get her a decent costume. Our trick was, on a count of three, we would blow big raspberries... Last year, we only got one, a little boy with his dad.
Oh, and Jas... be jealous - I haven't got a letterbox!

There's a weird local custom in my area, where instead of Halloween itself, people go trick-or-treating the Friday before it! Talk about confusing...

Our local paper printed a poster in this weeks edition saying 'Sorry no trick or treating, I won't answer my door to you' which I thought was a good idea.
Happy Halloween everyone! *makes scary ghostie noises*

North Wales Police printed a load of posters, some saying "we welcome callers with children in costume" and others with "sorry no callers please". We had the second one as I forgot to buy sweets!
