You'd be better off watching all of SCD...it's much better than this year's X-Factor ;D

Maria really didn't deserve to go this week, she was one of the best there. I don't think the Conways deserved to be in the bottom 2 either, I thought it should have been between Nicholas (who sounded out of tune to me again this week) and Chico (stick with the dancing to distract from the bad singing Chico). It didn't help that Nicholas, Shayne and Andy all sang songs that I hate with a passion this week!
Grrr.

Chico's "It's Chico Time" song...I was transfixed with horror. Good thing the song was pretty tuneless so you couldn't tell how bad his singing was. And then when the group of kids joined him - urggh! I hate it when they blatantly use small children to grab votes like that - we're probably supposed to be thinking "awww how sweet!" but I'm just thinking "yuck". Sharon pulled the same stunt last year with kids joining Tabby on stage and it was nauseating then as well.
Glad we finally got rid of Nicholas though, he's barely managed a note in tune for the last 3 weeks!
Actually I didn't think any of them were much good last night. Brenda performed well but it wasn't a great song. Journey South had a great song but nearly made a hash of it. Andy sang well but was dull as usual. The Conways did OK with an OK song. Shayne had a bloody awful schmoopy song and sang it OK. Nicholas had a bad song and sang it appallingly.

Yeah! I was horrified at Chico's performance too. I didn't think he could get any worse....then he comes up with that!! Why do they all scream and go wild when he comes on? do they see something we don't??? I thought the whole show was pretty boring this week.

What a drama queen! I reckon he'll be back on Saturday once he's finished sulking.
As for Chico....I'm already cringing

Oh Simon how could you! You had a chance to get rid of Chico and you didn't take it! After his appalling Michael Jackson impersonation and bringing a little brat on stage again in a desperate vote grabbing attempt, surely it was time to put us out of his misery. And the Conways must feel pretty bad since their own mentor voted them out. OK, they were never going to win but they are still better than Chico!
*sigh* Our suffering continues...

Yes! Chico has finally gone!
Good thing they put the programme on later this Saturday, perhaps it meant most of the under 8's were already in bed and couldn't vote for him.
This week it was so obvious that the other four acts were in a different league to Chico.
I hope Andy goes next. I'm very bored with him, he just does the same thing each week. When he started his second song this week I was thinking 'hasn't he done this one before?'. Not my kind of thing at all, though I'm sure the grannies love him. I'm still not rating Shayne either, though he's probably going to win. He's a good singer but not a charismatic performer.
I really want Brenda to win, but I don't think she will.

Shayne probably gets a lot of votes based on looks rather than performance.

Agreed, he is good but there are a lot of singers out there already who have that kind of voice...
