I can't believe Chico made it into the last 7! He's too much of a joke....

Sharon was charmed too much by Chico...he's not good enough in my opinion for the live shows. I don't think he'll get to that stage anyway... There are quite a few good-looking guys going through...I don't fancy any of them but I can see that other women will

I like all the finalists My favourites are all of the over-25's (I have a soft spot for Chico, even though he isn't the best singer), 4tune, Nicholas and Chenai. About Chico - I may be in the minority of liking him, but his personality reminds me a bit of Robbie Williams, plus he seems genuine. Was a bit surprised that young Trevor and the other 16 year old guy (forgotten his name at the mo) both didn't get through, but they have their whole lives in front of them and should get plenty of other chances, hopefully!

Aww I thought James (the blond 16year old) would have got through. Has Louis got something about that age? Yes Chico got through - Entertaining yes…but he is no singer. To be honest I felt like dunking him in the pool head first. I loved it when they showed you them going home to their families. I was in tears

I'm happy with most of the finalists I think. I think Simon picked the right groups, though Addictive Ladies' singing can be a bit dodgy. Chico.....hmm. He's a crowd pleaser and can be quite funny but I think he will get pretty irritating fast. He's not a very good singer. He's a one-trick pony really - once he's taken his shirt off what else is there?
But I'm pleased that the other 3 over-25s got through, I think they are my favourites. In the 16-24s, I'm glad that the kid that sang with the baby voice didn't get through (James I think) but sad that the blond one (Trevor?) didn't, he was sweet and a great singer. I liked Chenai but disappointed that Alexandra didn't get through too - Louis said he only wanted one girl and the girls do usually get voted out first, but I preferred her to Nicholas, whose falsetto in the final audition made me cringe.

I think I'd pick Gary (I think it's Gary anyway) - the binman - to win

Well although I didn't watch it live (was watching Strictly Come Dancing) I know who the first one out was. And reading people's comments about it I'm not sure that I'm that bothered about watching it anyway...none of them have the same amount of X-Factor that G4 have...

*bangs head against wall* Chico got through then. Yes he entertains…but PLEASE!! He cannot sing. For the first time I agreed with Simon tonight. 'chippendale' sprang to my mind too! Gah!
And if anyone dares to say he is the ‘housewives choice’ I will scream!! He is not my choice. Rant over.
Andy was great! What a fabulous voice this man has. I also enjoyed Shayne’s performance.
From the groups, I like 4tune and Journey South.

I've decided I'm not going to bother watching it - I know Andy has a great voice so I suspect he'll get something out of the competition whether he wins or not, I'd definately buy his album.

I've never been a big X- Factor fan, but I think most of the acts are pretty poor this year. My favourite would have to be Andy. I can quite understand why Simon didn't want to manage the groups, I don't think there was much to choose from - Addictiv Ladies may be sweet and bubbly but they do not have the vocal ability and Simon knows that. Having said that - Chico is decidedly lacking in that department too! His best act are probably Journey South and Louis' is probably Shayne.
I think Louis was probably right to leave the real youngsters out - not because they didn't have the talent, as they obviously do, but because there are too young to handle the harsh reality of it all.

I didn't watch x factor last time round so i can't compare but have to say that many of the final acts are very unexciting & far from what I would class as having the x factor. Ok so some can sing but where's that special something to go with it ? I find it shocking that out of the many people that applied there are so many in the final that can't sing well live . Let's just hope it was first night nerves & that they begin to improve next week...

We were so close to getting rid of Chico this week! Bad Louis!
Didn't think much of Addictiv Ladies singing either, but they were better than him!
None of them particularly grab me. I quite like Brenda, Journey South, Chenai and Andy. A lot of them are pretty dull though, they can sing OK but no X-Factor.

Simon has only got two groups left!!
I don't think 4Tune should have gone. Chenai is too nervous...
I am not going to comment on Chico being voted in by the public! Suffice to say I am not a happy bunny.
Loving : Shayne, Andy, Maria, Brenda and Journey South
And Sharon taking her time over who to vote out... Purleeeese!!!!
