Going to the dentist...

Meh. I have to go to the dentist's tomorrow for TWO appointments. Every patient has to get their teeth cleaned and scaled by the hygienist first - that's EVERY patient, no matter how clean their teeth are - which takes abso-b****y-lutely AGES...then they have to go back to the waiting room to wait for the actual dentist. The dentist gives your teeth a quick once-over before saying if they're fine or if you need to come back to get something like a filling. That takes only a couple of minutes maximum!

Well the appointment came and went...but I was told I need two fillings, and they'll both be big, I've had to make two separate appointments for them next month

When I was sitting in the waiting room with a few people who looked a bit nervous, I thought of the scene in Finding Nemo

Flipping dentists... round here, it's not easy to get one appointment, let alone two... the three of us have an appointment booked for 3rd February

My poor mum had to go to the dentist's today, to get a tooth out - she was there last week too, and had an appointment on the same day I did! I had to get another filling on Monday there, and this time had to get the heavy drill for a few seconds - the one that makes your skull vibrate
