..Spiders
Yes Boris the spider is back. He stomped in this afternoon. I was sat working at my pooter, and out the corner of my eye saw it sat there on the wall. It's stalking me...I know it is. It's not a tiny little thing either. Its must be the size of a 50p piece, with its hairy legs *shudder* Hope Boris does'nt have any siblings...
Although I don't like spiders, if one is stuck in the bath I will help it out - whilst trying not to scream too loud that is.
ETA: umm.. Boris is a name I give to very large spiders..

Well, I had to come into this thread just to find out didn't I...... I hate spiders, they're the one thing I just can't cope with - everything else I don't have a problem with, snakes, mice, rats, bats, worms - no problem...... but spiders aaaaarrrrgggghhhh! What are you going to do about Boris? He sounds huge.... yuk!! Are you going to continue to give him board and lodgings or have you sent him packing? My sister's just recently bought one of those long handled spider-catcher things cos she has loads in her house. I just get hubby to deal with ours, good job he's not scared..... well, not that he'd ever admit to it if he was. ;D

I don't mind spiders, we leave them alone most of the time but if there's one of those huge, black, fast-running spiders we try and catch them in a jamjar and put them outside!

*giggles at Carol* Thought that might get you in here I think Boris has taken up residence. He seems to disappear if anyone goes to catch him. I swear to god Boris wears boots...or maybe trainers... Ooh I don't like it when spiders run...I scream like a big jessie.

I get huge spiders in my house - they are about the size of my hand! They tend to come out in the autumn when the weather turns colder and seem to like lurking on the curtains and hiding under the fridge, both of which are perfect places to scare the crap out of me by leaping out unexpectedly.
There's also lots of those little jumping spiders around at the moment - they're small, but they move damn fast!

Good God arcadia! The size of your hand? I think I would definitely set up a mouse trap for the beast!

Unfortunately I'm not joking - those things are huge! My boyfriend didn't believe that they were that big until he actually saw one of them - and then he ran away!

There was a huge "Boris" spider in our house the other week! It's gone now though...I don't mind spiders at all really, but those huge ones run so fast...
