According to one of the papers today (excuse my dodgy memory for forgetting which one) says that all babies and toddlers in nursery will be taught how to talk. I know quite a few non-parents may not think much of this, but it's made me so mad! Schools are dictating what we are allowed to put in our children's packed lunches (apparently in some schools kids are ONLY allowed water or milk to drink), the government are constantly telling us how to raise our children... Hell, why don't we all just factory-farm our kids? Take them all away from their parents at birth and shove them in huge nurseries for state-approved doctors and teachers to turn them all into identical human beings. After all, we parents are losing our responsibility for them piece by piece.
(sorry, but like I said it's made me mad)

This is absolute madness!! Talk about taking away children's childhoods!! What about the rights of the parents? oh! yes! stupid me, that's been taken away too.. I can understand why you are angry...I would be too.. Fortunately my children are grown up.

Yet another flaw with the system It's up to parents how to feed and look after their children, NOT the government's!

Saw on a website I frequent that there is proposed plan about a curriculum for 0-3s.
I think it is ridiculous and this was my reply:
I could read, and enjoyed reading from the age of three, but I was NEVER forced into it.
If children are forced to read, or write, or do maths etc from a very young age, then in my opinion they will grow up to hate it eventually, and it will never be any fun.

speechless!! 0-3 year olds learn all they need from their parents...not from some arsed up goverment ideas Nor do I believe in giving 5 year olds tests to do.

Why don't we just outlaw parents and shove newborn babies into nurseries?
Let toddlers be toddlers, not students. It's bad enough that the school age has gone down already.
