This is going to be the best series of Doctor Who yet, I reckon! Chris was a great Doc but David just IS the Doctor, he really was born to play the part

Really looking forward to Sarah Jane and K9 returning. Bet Davy T likes older women too...

I thought David was fantastic in the Christmas Invasion, so I can't wait to see more of him. And see more of him as the Doctor too, of course.

Yeah the one with Sarah Jane and K-9 will be great - and the Cybermen two-parter! Wasn't sure of the new design to start with but I think they look really cool now!

Like most people, when I was a kid I thought the Daleks were the scariest thing ever - mainly because of the harsh electronic voices - while the Cybermen just made me slightly nervous. But funnily enough, these days I find the Cybermen far scarier than the Daleks, because the Cybes are far more human, yet just as robotic. This makes you realise how close we can come to losing our humanity.
I prefer the new design to the older ones. The original look was laughable, even by the standards of the 60's. The later looks were an improvement, but they were still a bit too clunky.

I've seen clips of the original Cybermen and I think they're hilarious - not scary in the slightest! The versions with the metal grate for a mouth and the electronic voice are a bit scarier but still not nightmare inducing. I'm still going to call the new version's footware "moonboots" though - how could you not, lol!

I used to find the Cybermen scarier than the Daleks after one story where they captured people, put them in pods and turned them into Cybermen. A bit like an early version of the Borg. I think I was more scared of being turned into a Cyberman than being exterminated.

Two questions for everyone; -
In a life or death situation, which Doctor would you least like to have to count on coming to your rescue? And which Doctor would you least like to be trapped in a lift with? (I won't bother asking who you'd most like to be trapped in a lift with as I think I can just guess the answer...)

The 6th Doctor on both counts (it's not Colin Baker's fault though, he was given bad scripts)

For me, it's William Hartnell on the first count; 'cos if he had to come running to my rescue he'd probably have a coronary before he was halfway there.
And on the second count, probably Peter Davison; 'cos he was always out of breath, and when you're stuck in a lift, fresh air is always at a premium.
